Former EPS graduate student Dr. Xinting Yu has been awarded the Harold C. Urey prize for outstanding achievements in planetary science by an early-career scientist. The Urey prize is awarded by the American Astronomical Society (AAS) Division for Planetary Sciences. Xinting was a member of Prof. Sarah Horst’s lab as a graduate student in EPS. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of San Antonio.
